What's the advantage of brown mascara to black?

a lot of people seem to tout different colored mascaras, but i just brown instead of my usual black and it%26#039;s not doing anything exceptional for me that black doesn%26#039;t do.
What%26#039;s the advantage of brown mascara to black?
Brown is for a softer more natural look.

Black is more dramatic.
What%26#039;s the advantage of brown mascara to black?
i use black sometimes but brown works for me as well, both make my eyelashes look a bit thicker.
Reply:Brown is subtle. It enhances natural skin tones and blends better than black. Brown can be either neutral or stand as a back to some other accent colors like blue, green, pink, or even black. Plus, brown comes in more shades from light brown/tan to sienna to almost black.

Black is harsher, serves only as an accent, and is harder to blend. When used with brown, it can create the %26#039;smoky-eye%26#039; look. However, on lighter skin tones black can wash out what little pigment they have and make the person look pale and sick. Black also doesn%26#039;t look good on those who have many freckles on their face.

Black can be used effectively when used only in the lid crease or paired with colors such as medium brown or gray. Black eye liner also makes the eyes look brighter and the woman more alluring.
