How do u remove fake nails?

How do u remove fake nails?
Try soaking your nails in acetone nail polish remover.
Reply:just soak them in hot water or nail polish remover for about 30 minute and DON%26#039;T pry them off just pop them off
Reply:i used to just pull them off, it kinda hurts but i am impatient lol. another way you can get them off is to soak them in nail polish remover (works better if it is not acetone free). theyll come off much easier that way and wont damage your real nails so much. good luck!
Reply:Well you can just pull them off. Or you can go to the nail salon and get them taken off proffesionally. This can be expensive but it will do A LOT less damage to your nails. In the future i would suggest not getting fake nails because they really ruin your nails
Reply:get some fingernail polish WITH ACETONE and soak your fingers in it in a bowl for a while. Then take anything handy, licence, credit card, nail clippers and pry them under the fake nail and pop them off. A salon will charge you 15 dollars to do exactly this for you.
Reply:I can just pull mine off from the cuticule..... but you can get some stuff from the drug store or supermarket that gets rid of the glue!!

also if you soak them in nail polish remover..... mkae sure it has acetone!! This is stronger!

(all nail polish removers will cause your fingers to dry out if you soak them for a while!)

GOOD LUCK
Reply:Nail polish remover. Do not bite or pull them off!!!! This will damage your nails, making them thin and weak.

Fill a shallow bowl with nail polish remover and place the tip of your finger, up to your cuticle, in it. Let them soak for like 10 minuets. Use a toothpick to pry around edges. If the nail holds on, soak them some more. Only when you can pull them off with relative ease are they ready to be removed. Doing this will preserve your real nails.

If this sounds too time consuming or difficult, you can always go to a nail salon and have them taken off professionally. Good luck!!!
Reply:Good Question. I always bit them off. I try to get the whole nail off at once, its the easiest. I dont soak them, but its a good idea to soak em first. Also use some Nail Clippers that clip from the side it really helps.
Reply:cut down till as short as your own nail

fill a bowl with a little acetone - until nail deep,

can be bought very cheaply

float a layer of olive oil on top

the acetone melts the nail and the oil protects the cuticle and stops it from drying out

use kitchen roll or nail brush to remove melted mess

repeat till down to bare nail

picking or popping off can damage nail or lift it from nail bed

  1. Good information.

I came across many queries in several forums where people have been asking for advice on the best glue that can be used on nails and that is not only strong but also safe on nails. This was the same question I had sometime back when I used to apply nail gel myself. Initially the glue I got would never hold on the way it used to when done in the salon. I then came across the nail glue being sold on gel-nails which lasts very long and is pretty easy to apply. It provides a strong bonding for my nails and also does a great job in repairing the nail tips.

Most important of all is that this is strong glue I was actually looking out for and this is used by nail salons and nail artists for professional applications. It is available at a cheap price at gel-nails and I remember seeing it at a discount of 74% which is great. Maybe this can help if you also face problems relating to poor glue quality as I did earlier.
